I thought I’d drop in and let people know what I’ve been up to lately. Things are getting very exciting, as the seventh annual Self-Published-Fantasy-Blog-Off has officially begun as of June 1st. My YA Fantasy novel, Wenworld: the World Inside the Crystal is entered in the competition. I’m really just hoping this great opportunity brings more eyes to the book. I would be grateful for even a few more people.
Now, about the progress on Book 2. As of right now I am sitting at 213,000 words. I still have two chapters left, but I am nearly through with it. It has turned out, if I do say so myself, really great. I was proud of Book 1, but I feel this sequel is superior in every possible way. I’m unsure how long it will take to edit the next draft, as I rewrite things constantly. The benefit of following an extremely detailed outline, though, is that I don’t have to rework where certain story elements go. I’ll be fine on that front. Overall It’s getting much closer to being a reality. The final title is Wenworld: the Zyphur Spear. It could end up being released sometime in July. No promises, but that is my current prediction.
That’s all I’ve got for now. Keep an eye out for Wenworld during SPFBO this year, and thank you for reading.
